Another book on my list of books about the Santa Catalina Mountains... The Road to Mount Lemmon: A Father, A Family, and the Making of Summerhaven contains stories and memories from Mary Ellen Barnes who grew up in the Santa Catalina Mountains and whose father, and family, were important figures in the development of the mountain town of Summerhaven. This is not a history of Summerhaven - although there are quite a few great details - or an autobiography - but something in-between - lovely reminiscences with a flavor of the mountain - well worth reading if you love the Santa Catalina Mountains.
