Awake - I thought about this show again this month while some other cop show played on the TV, I never watched every single episode of Awake but I still occasionally think about it. To be sure every episode might note have quite been a masterpiece but the whole premise was awesome, creative and very well done. Rating: 4 of 5.

Review: Salomon Advanced Skin S-Lab 5 Set Pack and Review: Salomon Skin Pro 10+3 Set - A bit of a gap since I have made time to write for the Summit Hut Blog but finally getting back into the swing of things, hoping to get one more pack review done before moving on to some hiking posts.

Julien Donkey-Boy - We recently watched The Celebration (review coming...) and had a recommendation for another Dogme 95 film - Julien Donkey-Boy, I have to say this was unusual - and in a strange way I did enjoy the bizarre and disturbing scenes with Werner Herzog - but we just could not quite sustain interest to make it all of the way thru - maybe more interesting to a true student of film technique... Rating: 2 of 5 (There is something here, I just didn't find it.)

Not Suitable for Children - A bit off-center but pretty much just a standard romantic comedy. Rating: 2 of 5 (You won't turn it off but I doubt you would watch it again...)

2013 Marathon des Sables Photo Gallery - Hard to imagine that images from the Marathon des Sables don't catch most people's imagination in some way or another and iRunFar had a couple of GREAT images from the 2013 race (my favorites are towards the bottom). If you want more I recently found 26th Marathon des Sables, the sand marathon which has a more extensive selection. Rating: 5 of 5 (The stuff of dreams!)
