The Sprawl trilogy - Neuromancer, Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive - by William Gibson are science fiction/cyberpunk classics! These are among a reasonably small number of books from my childhood that I remember and am still captivated by. Sure, these are not the same now as when I read them in the 1990s - times have changed, but rereading these is still a journey into one of the most vivid and interesting future worlds that I have come across - and certainly a bit of a nostalgic journey for me... I suppose that I would have to say the Neuromancer is the 'best' of the three - but I think that the other two books in the series are actually what has made the trilogy hold up over time. Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive may lack some of the razor edged focus of Neuromancer - but they push the world/ideas/characters in interesting ways that, for me, make the trilogy into something amazing.
